  1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Jason H: This review is long overdue, as our install was in Sept 2023. We worked with Chris Richardson throughout the process and he took his time to answer a ton of questions. We had panels installed on a new build, and they worked with us to send someone out to measure all the rooflines since maps did not have images of the roof yet. We also did not have a full year of electric bills, so Chris was patient enough to wait on us a few months after we initially spoke so we could get 6 months worth of usage, then extrapolate the rest. We have now had the system for a complete 12 months and I am happy to say that it has produced slightly more than it was projected for, which we are happy with, as that gives us room to grow. I mainly bring this up because the projected system size was pretty much spot on… We've heard some horror stories about systems not being sized properly, but that's not the case here. As an additional note, we had a whole house generator setup after we got the panels installed, so we had to get a couple techs to come back out after the fact to re-work the wiring in our panel (note we paid for the service call and expected to). We reached out to Chris and he helped get us in touch with the right folks at Lumina to make that happen. All in all the customer service was what you would hope for, and the main reason we chose to go with Lumina.
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Nancy Adams: Lumina did a great job installing our panels. They were responsive to most problems as they came up after the installation. We did have issues after a lightning strike and we asked about getting a surge protector but after some back and forth and additional costs on my end, we had the extra system installed. I still think the company did a good job and I'm very happy with the end result, especially my much reduced power bills.
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Mark Choi: I shopped around and found Lumina Solar to be very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They use high end REC panels and state of the art Enphase micro inverters. The price was competitive and the installation went smoothly. When one panel later malfunctioned, they corrected the problem promptly, all covered by warranty. I highly recommend Lumina Solar.
  4. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Kevin Mowry: After multiple quotes and meetings with Solar Companies we chose to sign with Lumina Solar. Kurt Bradshaw did an excellent job of explaining the technology and the process of having Solar installed on our home. Every aspect of the installation process was thoroughly explained by Kurt and his team. We went from contract signing to installation in 34 days and permission to operate 18 days later! My wife and I highly recommend Lumina if you are considering Solar for your home!
  5. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by John Allen: Lumina Solar along with Alex Fegley did a great job helping design and install a solar system at my house.
  6. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Mark Lewis: I cannot give Lumina and especially Alexander Fegley, our Lumina consultant, enough praise on how professional they handled our situation. We gave Lumina 5 stars for their outstanding customer service and solar products. We interviewed 3 other companies and they had the best product at the best price.  We were ready to move forward to have our panels installed but we got extreme push back from our neighbors. They complained to the HOA who disapproved our request. Lumina was prepared to go to the mat for us with the HOA but we declined. We could have pushed it through but decided this was no longer the neighborhood for us. When we contacted Alexander, he was very understanding and super helpful. Due to his assistance Lumina refunded our deposit in full.  We will definitely use Lumina in the future. If we could give more than 5 starts we would. Highly recommend Lumina.
  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Tyler Bridwell: I highly recommend Lumina Solar. They are a complete, one stop solar solution. Making the transition to solar can be a daunting endeavor and a huge investment. Lumina Solar and more specifically Christopher Richardson made my transition to solar a fantastic and rewarding experience. I have the highest confidence in my rooftop system and am extremely satisfied with my investment. Lumina is a top notch organization. I decided to transition to solar for several reasons. I liked the idea of making and using my own electricity. More independence from the power company was a huge motivator. But the numbers had to work. I wanted to make an investment that would pay for its self and continue to provide a return on my initial investment. I also wanted to be more environmentally responsible. Diving into the world of rooftop solar can be overwhelming. It is absolutely necessary to do your homework and get several quotes from competing companies. I received quotes from five different solar installation companies. I elected to go with Lumina Solar in the winter of 2022 and have been completely satisfied and extremely happy with my investment and choice of solar installers. Lumina was not the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive. But their product is so much more than panels and wire. They are a complete solar solution. From the very first meeting with Christopher I was impressed. Lumina does more than just the installation. They provide support every step of the way from the initial roof inspection to long after your system starts producing power. I was a skeptic from the very beginning when I started researching solar installers. I had other solar companies flat out lie to me. Some companies wanted the ‘quick sale’ and tried to lock me into a contract immediately. Others were using ‘fuzzy math’ when demonstrating the potential money advantages of rooftop solar. Lumina Solar was different. They were straight up honest and competent from the very beginning. Even when local red tape and logistical challenges pushed the project deadline back, they never wavered. They continued to be honest and forthcoming. Christopher was always available for questions, day or night. He was rock solid and with me every step of the way. Lumina solar offers many advantages that set them apart from other companies. Their warranty is of the highest quality on the market backed by a Solar Insure guarantee. This provides an added piece of mind. They also enroll their customers into a SREC management program that sells your energy credits for you. This takes all the headache and stress off of the customer. Like I stated above, Lumina Solar has thought of everything. Their comprehensive approach to rooftop soar goes way beyond installing panels on your roof. They cover every aspect involved in making the transition to solar. And more importantly, they back it up in the contract. I am very happy with Lumina Solar and Christopher Richardson!! Lumina Solar made my transition to solar a very positive and rewarding experience!
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Tushar Patel: As I started solar project, I had talked to few companies, I ended up with Lumina due to few reason. It came highly recommended from few folks I knew but i'd like to evaluate myself 1st hand and I did. I synced up with Phil Jordan from Lumina. Phil was tremendous with his knowledge and answering my every questions promptly. He didn't try to sell like few other companies did. Phil and I had multiple discussion before I was satisfied and signed up. With Lumina there isn't much choice of Panel/Inverters but they're top of the shelf material. Once the permit and interconnection was approved, Lumina quickly schedule an install. I felt like their electrician - Josh, Cameron, Jimmy and Matt - and Installers Ryan and Titus - were very very knowledgeable and professional. Like Phil they took their time to explain my questions with all work and installs and other solar questions. The Job they did was through and clean. Once install was complete, Lumina again was quick to set up town inspection within a week. Overall, I am glad I choose Lumina with how ease the process was and above all the work is. I can't recommend Lumina and Phil enough for your project if you're considering going solar.
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Matt Boyce: I had a great experience with Lumina Solar! Christopher Richardson and his team were helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Our solar looks and performs great, and Lumina was able to work with us to get the set up we wanted for the price we wanted.
  10. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by John Collier: So far I have had a very positive experience with Lumina. A friend had done some research and sent me his top solar prospects, with Lumina as his #1. I called several companies and Lumina stood just above the others. The salesperson, Matt D, was knowledgeable and supportive without being pushy. The design process was all done over zoom, and everything was well explained. Once I was ready to commit, everything moved along smoothly and as expected. The installation was uneventful in a good way. The permitting took a while, but they had set my expectations for that, so it wasn't a surprise. Once the panels were up and running, the monitoring software is great, and Matt continues to support me as I have questions. My panels only came online in October of 2021, so my review may change if I get any curveballs in the future, but for now, everything has been wonderful!

Have you ever questioned why some solar jobs stall after setup? Frequently, it's due to the fact that the preliminary assessment neglected subtle shading triggered by seasonal foliage changes or stopped working to customize the system size to seasonal energy needs. These oversights create bottlenecks that sap effectiveness and patience.

One remarkable case included a customer whose home sat near a grove of deciduous trees. The preliminary assessment missed out on how winter season's bare branches allowed ample sunshine, while summertime's dense canopy obstructed it. Adjusting the system style appropriately enhanced their energy harvest by practically 20% in chillier months-- a crucial gain in Montgomery County Pennsylvania's environment.
